A³
A³ is a collaboration between six artists that set out to explore letterforms and their symbolic connotations in the three Abrahamic faiths.
Together we designed a logo and a few designs that are available as limited edition silkscreen prints. The ‘Unity’ piece is made up of the word ‘unity’ in English, Hebrew and Arabic all written in a style of calligraphy called 'Square Kufic'.
Our work was exhibited at the Red Gallery in Shoreditch and the Jewish Museum, London, as part of the 3FF’s Urban Dialogues programme in 2011.

Alef, A & Alif
This letterpress print originated from some considerations about the ‘first letter’ in the Latin, Hebrew and Arabic alphabets: we hear in the names of the letters Alif and Alef, and see in the shapes of the letters Alef and A, that our cultures, alphabets and relationships with God are all related.
