Google: Soraya's Story

This short film made by Google brings to light the story of a modern practitioner of the ancient tradition of Islamic calligraphy.

Having learned her art from one of calligraphy’s true masters, Efdaluddin Kiliç, Soraya now returns to her teacher with something at once unique and unexpected, yet entirely in keeping with generations of Islamic artists.
